We want to share with you a little more about our Lily of the Valley Orphanages and what God is currently doing:
Lily of the Valley Orphanages is comprised of two orphanages, one in Chihuahua which has over 125 children and the original one in Tijuana which has over 100 children, both growing all the time. The Tijuana orphanage was established almost 20 years ago and the Chihuahua orphanage was opened in 1995. Both orphanages are rated as the top orphanages in Mexico. Let us assure you that our Lily of the Valley Orphanages are not institutions! They are homes filled with the love of Jesus, wonderful home cooked food, comfortable beds and many, many children who have had the miracle of transformation from the worse abuse cases that you have ever heard of. The children come from garbage dumps and deep poverty, but once at the Lily and after prayer their joy is returned to their hurting souls and smiles come to their faces.
The Mission and the purpose of Lily of the Valley Orphanages is:
- To provide food, shelter, clothing and love for homeless foreign children.
- To provide basic medical care.
-
To minister to the downtrodden, the brokenhearted and those with spiritual, physical and mental needs.
Lily of the Valley Orphanages exist for the sole purpose of introducing orphans in Mexico with a way of life that is biblically based. These orphans come from many different backgrounds yet with the same common denominator – abuse of every kind. Every child came from a poverty-stricken environment; some from prison, from living at the garbage dumps, abandoned cars, etc. They have now been brought to a home, not an institution, where they have been transformed by the love of God. In the process of presenting the gospel, because we are dealing with the poor and the destitute, we also meet the children’s physical needs, which include feeding, clothing, educating, and providing a safe shelter for them. |
